22nd.December 2010 Treasures are abound within the Straits of Melaka and one particular ship wreck related to the history of Melaka is the Flor de la Mar. Seems it sunk during a storm off the coast of Northern Sumatra in Indonesia.     PART OF HANG TUAH BRIDGE COMPLETED
3rd.October 2010Part of the new Hang Tuah bridge has been opened to traffic. Only one lane has been tarred while the 2nd. lane is being completed. The new bridge has no columns piled into the Melaka River thus allowing smooth flow of water underneath the river. This also allows water cruises and water taxis to pass by without having to wait.
