Everly Resort Malacca | Review Part 2

Review on Everly Resort Malacca here

(Good)
* I would recommend this hotel (Everly Resort Malacca) to anyone. I stayed there for 2 nights with my classmates and it was Excellent. Food was great, rooms and bathrooms were clean, staff were friendly. I would like to go there again....
* I don't exactly remember the year and month of our 1st stay in this hotel, may be way back 3 or 4 years ago where we have ASEAN meeting and sponsored by a Government Department in Malaysia. The room environment is just excellent, spacious and clean and I remember facing the sea. The conference hall is also very convenient and…
(Not so good)
* We stayed there for a weekend. To our surprise, the hotel was badly maintained. The lobby has water leaking stain on the roof top. The unit that we stayed in has horrible ventilation and the toilets have black stain all over. It is obvious that the toilets were not properly cleaned and maintained. My parents refused to shower in 1...

(Good)
Everly Resort Malacca, previously the Riviera Bay Resort, is an estimated 10 kilometers from the main town of historical Malacca, situated near the sea facing the Straits of Malacca. We had a pleasant 20 minutes’ drive, as we passed by picturesque houses and reclaiming works on the way to the resort. My first impression of the resort was serenity it exudes majesty and calmness different when compared to the hotels in the town. Check-in was prompt; waiting was hardly 15 minutes, and we had our keys to the apartment. The lobby was bright and it led to the pool and the beach.
…..
As the resort is near to town, we took most of our meals in town instead, sampling the local delights of Malacca. There is a pleasant atmosphere of leisure and tranquility in the resort, from the lobby to the beach or suite. This suited me perfectly; as I wanted relaxation and peace, away from the mad rush and confused crowds. There is plenty of room for improvement at the resort though; however it is value for money. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for sun, beach and quiet relaxation….
